OUTSQUID
ANTI-SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING STATEMENT
Fiscal Year: 2026
Effective Date: May 3, 2026
Document Classification: Public / Legal / Corporate Governance
1. UNEQUIVOCAL POLICY STATEMENT
This statement is published in strict accordance with Section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and equivalent international human rights frameworks. It constitutes OutSquid’s resolute, zero-tolerance mandate against all forms of modern slavery, forced labor, debt bondage, and human trafficking.
As a global Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and operational infrastructure partner for the maritime, logistics, and financial sectors, OutSquid recognizes that the offshore labor market is historically vulnerable to exploitation. We categorically reject the commodification of human beings. We are committed to engineering a supply chain and internal operational framework where human dignity, fair compensation, and absolute transparency are structurally guaranteed.
2. ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE AND OPERATIONAL FOOTPRINT
OutSquid deploys “Operational Pods” and “Dedicated Seats” across a distributed network of global hubs. Our primary operational centers are strategically located in emerging markets across:
- Southeast Asia (including the Philippines and Vietnam)
- Africa (including Senegal)
- The Middle East (including the United Arab Emirates)
While these regions offer strategic labor arbitrage for our enterprise clients, they also present elevated geopolitical and systemic risks regarding labor exploitation. Consequently, OutSquid does not rely on passive compliance; we enforce active, militant oversight of our entire operational footprint.
3. DIRECT EMPLOYMENT AND COMPENSATION PROTOCOLS
The root cause of modern slavery in the BPO and offshore sector is frequently the utilization of unregulated third-party labor brokers. OutSquid has structurally eliminated this risk through the following mandates:
- Absolute Ban on Labor Brokers: OutSquid strictly forbids the use of shady third-party labor agencies, unauthorized recruitment brokers, or umbrella companies to source our operational talent.
- Direct Employment Contracts: Every operator working within an OutSquid hub is hired directly by our local corporate entity. All employment contracts are transparent, written in the employee’s native language, and signed without the coercion of recruitment fees or document withholding (e.g., confiscation of passports).
- Above-Market Compensation: We do not engage in a race to the bottom. OutSquid systematically pegs our compensation packages above the localized market median. By ensuring a secure, living wage and comprehensive benefits, we eliminate the financial desperation that fuels debt bondage and vulnerability.
4. RIGOROUS SUPPLY CHAIN AUDITING AND DUE DILIGENCE
To verify that our zero-tolerance framework is actively functioning, OutSquid subjects its global hubs to unannounced, rigorous operational audits.
- Internal and External Audits: Our central compliance team, alongside independent third-party human rights auditors, conducts comprehensive reviews of our facilities in Southeast Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. These audits assess payroll transparency, working conditions, and contractual integrity.
- Encrypted Whistleblower Matrix: We maintain a secure, anonymous, multi-lingual whistleblower portal accessible to every OutSquid employee. Any allegations of coercion, harassment, or labor rights violations bypass local management and are routed directly to the Global Chief Compliance Officer for immediate investigation.
- Vendor Vetting: Any secondary vendors (e.g., physical security, facility maintenance) servicing our operational hubs must contractually bind themselves to this Anti-Slavery framework and submit to our auditing matrix.
5. MANDATORY COMPLIANCE TRAINING
Policy is obsolete without execution. OutSquid mandates rigorous, recurring education to ensure our leadership can identify and neutralize exploitation risks.
- Hub Director Certification: All regional Hub Directors, HR personnel, and operational managers are legally required to complete an annual Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking mitigation certification.
- Threat Identification: This training specifically focuses on identifying the subtle indicators of forced labor, psychological coercion, and human trafficking within the local geopolitical context of their respective operational hubs. Failure to complete this training results in immediate suspension of the Director's operational authority.
6. BOARD APPROVAL AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
OutSquid views the eradication of modern slavery not as a one-time compliance exercise, but as a continuous operational imperative. We will iteratively enhance our technical safeguards, audit methodologies, and employee empowerment programs year over year.
